Join our Team as a Pool Service & Repair Technician
Interested in a physically and technically challenging, hands on, outdoor service career? Carefree Pools ROC 308715 is actively recruiting for Pool Service & Repair technician positions.
Each Service tech handles weekly routes of maintaining 50-75 pools, while completing semi-annual filter cleanings and pump lubes, various equipment repairs and helping with equipment replacements as needed.
No prior experience required ~ Owner is a former 10th Mountain Division E4 who enthusiastically trains all aspects of pool service, proper chemistry and equipment functionality, repairs and replacements in a "can-do" environment;
Mechanical ability a plus - Integrity, solid work ethic and positive attitude and mind set a must.
Physical ability to jump walls required when gate access to pools not available and ability to carry or lift 40-100 lbs of salt, sand or filtration equipment if helping with repairs or installations.
Drug free environment; 40 hrs/week required; Overtime up to 15 hours per week also available for equipment repairs, filter cleanings and installs.

Potential earnings: $35K - $75K per year depending on skill level, experience, length of time with us and hours willing to work. Over-time is paid at 1.5x regular hourly rate if hours worked greater than 40/week.
Training rate of $11-12/hour for initial 2-4 week training period. Starting rate of $14-15/hour once handling route solo; Periodic reviews, hands on training and continual feedback allow for maximizing earnings potential quickly.
Ability to learn higher level equipment repairs, installations and programming variable speed pumps, motors, filters, heaters, salt cell systems and remotes speeds path to increased compensation.
Must have or be willing to purchase a small truck to carry chemicals and service equipment upon completion of training period.
Must be drug free with a non-restricted valid driver’s license, enthusiastic, focused, respectful and willing to learn and follow through on assigned tasks with little supervision once fully trained.
Authorization of background check and drug screen required.
Group Medical plan available on first of the month after first 30 days of employment. Benefits Compensation includes 50% of technician’s group medical premium if elected.
Paid vacation available after first full year of employment.
